At Kelvin Grove Resort we have it all!! We offer you an interesting and rewarding deviation and a selection of excursions away from the humdrum of everyday life in and around the resort !

Our resort is a family owned Drakensberg Mountain Resort nestled in the picturesque foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg's Champagne Valley Area.

Kelvin Grove Resort is a tranquil oasis in a serene mountain setting where you can regain your sanity away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our facilities offers self catering cottages, camping and caravaning with plenty of activities for young and old alike. Wonderful mountain views can be enjoyed from many of the caravan sites. Electricity boxes are well placed at points throughout the campsite, please bring long extensions for "hook-up". Separate water and drainage facilities are also available to most sites.

We have 4 self catering units to choose from.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom. There are private braai areas for each cottage.

The cottages are serviced every morning by reliable staff for your convenience.

Kelvin Grove Resort host regular biking weekends..catering for "newbies" to "experienced" dirt bike and quad riders.....

The weekend riding package includes accommodation, Saturday outride and a social braai in the pub on Saturday night.

• For Game viewing, the Spioenkop Nature Reserve is close by.

• The best golf course that is one of South Africa's top courses is a 20-minute drive away.

• The Drakensberg Boys Choir School hold weekly concerts during the school term, these concerts are a must for all.

• Falcon ridge holds daily displays of Falconry.

• Helicopter sight-seeing flips.

• Off road riding in the "Little Berg" region. Rides range from easy to technical trails. All rides accompanied by a guide.

• Motorbikes are not provided.

• Bell Park Dam is only 5 minutes away, for glassy smooth water skiing, wake board riding and fishing.
