My family and I had a gorgeous stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the area itself spoke volumes. It was lovely to getaway from the hurried and noisy lifestyle and just enjoy nature at it's best. The armchair critics have a lovely veranda overlooking a vast wilderness and for the more adventurous the hiking is to die for. Would consider actually living there.

I enjoyed my stay...great value for my money - maybe you would want to consider installing a ceiling fan, and wire meshing for the doors and windows to keep the insects out.

The room was basic but fine. The bathroom was shabby. Nice big kitchen with basic equipment. The people were very nice and helpful. The hiking was mostly in the woods without views. That may be because we did not do the long hikes (way too hot). If you have to pick one place in South Africa to do some hiking, go to the Drakensbergs.
