Midmar Camp weekend
Our original rustic chalet was flooded out by rin so we were upgraded at no extra cost to their more expensive chalet which was lovely. The scenery of course at Midmar is beautiful and we were fortunate to have great weather.

Good experience
All good experience. Just a note that there was only 1 small glass in the kitchen, even though there is 4 beds? also the shower we were using was little mouldy, if they can try clean it better. All further was a great experience.

Value for money and graet service
We were really surprised with the accommodation. The chalet is old but very neat and clean, equipped with everything you need. They even came to service the chalet and to bring extra toilet paper. Best value for money and the staff is very friendly.

My Stay at the Midmar Chalets
We had a wonderful night in the Chalets at Midmar. The chalet was fully equipped and clean.

1 bed cottage Midmar
Clean, fully equipped cottage at Midmar. Stone's throw from dam, quiet and very pleasant booking in staff. Would recomment to all who want quiet time on hols or for locals a weekend away.

Tranquil environment
I had a really good time, facilities are well maintained and clean. The chalets have everything one needs to feel at home. I was a bit let down by the fact that I could not get an Iron and an ironing board in the room and also when I called reception they were not helpful so I ended up not geting the iron. This is the only thing that gave me a problem. Otherwiswe everythign was excellent!!

Tranquil environment

The rooms were well-maintained and clean. The ambience is good. But the camp is advertised as having a swimming pool, which it does, but without any water in it. If the weather had not been so bad we would have found this a real disappointment. The remote control on the DSTV decoder was faulty. However it was good value for a family stay and for a few days of doing nothing.

well done
The staff was courteous and kind letting us use the facility before check in time. We were staying over for my daughter’s wedding at fern hill. Accommodation clean and neat, best bed I have slept in for a while. Will definitely return
