Lotheni Camp Reviews

We come from cape town and our expectations were a bit higher, but after we've settled in, the stay became very pleasant. We appreciated the house keeping and the friendly employees.We did a bit of hiking, and reccomend that the trails/walkways should be clear at all times.at some places we had to fight our way open because of the bushes growing into the paths. we also reccomend some fishing rods we can hire at lotheni.We had to drive to himeville (50km away from lotheni) to hire a fishing rod. otherwise we had a pleasant stay & will probably see you some time in the future!

Lovely walks but need to be clearly signed and distances on the website are not correct. Loved the accommodation and staff. Fridge was made a bit too cold as our milk froze. Must advise guests about the bad road, not suitable for cars, only bakkies and 4x4's.

My wife and I found Lotheni camp to be very clean and quiet. The accommodation was spacious and compfortable, and located so that that the most could be made of the view. We were pleased at the variety of walking trails that were available.

Once again Lotheni / Simes Cottage was great. Privacy however is a small problem as there are no signs to keep out the other visitors from the Simes grounds... you are continuosly "suprised" by people walking in and around your cottage and trout pond.

It was fantastic. Very peaceful. A person could relax without worrying about noise. It is a great getaway from home, work and the children.
