Mountains to die for
This area is breath taking. No matter how many times you see it. God's greatness can be notice all around you. I would really recommend people to go and visit the park and surrounding areas. We have a beautiful country.

Very nice place
Location magnificient; reception personnel 'tired" of so many tourists (on arrival); good and friendly restaurant. Accomodation superb; perhaps prices getting too high.

Camping
Our visit to Glen-Reenen was very nice.We loved the walking trials, and the personell was very friendly. We will definitely visit Glen-Reenen again.

Heerlike rus
Ons het die stilte en die kalmte baie gerus. Die Ego-staproete was asemrowend. Dit was heerlik om orak in Afrikaans bedien te word, al was al die dokumente in Engels. Die rondawel was effens dinker, veral vir iemand wat swaksiende is. Dankie dat ons lekker kon rus!

Glen Reenen Rest camp is truly a gem that is well looked after. The staff is great and the facilities are really no.1. I might be a bit of a sensitive person because I live in Pretoria, but the only thing that I would improve might be to put up a gate and palisade fens-sing around the camping area to make people feel a bit safer. the only reason is that because a lot of travelers use that road that goes by in front of the camping area it is very easy to just turn in there and create trouble.

We will most definitely be coming back to your wonderful caravan park.

We were impressed with how well kept this camp was.
The accommodation was clean and very comfortable.
The foot-path to Brandwag excellent laid out.

Only 2 management problems spoil this wonderful park:

1) through-traffic is allowed to run through the park unchecked. This causes excessive noise, security risk and pollution.
2) no proper maps of the walks/hikes available at reception.

Relaxed Getaway.
I did not see any animals.

The accommodation was nice and any enquiries professionally handled. Had a great time resting and it was very peaceful.

Thank you for a lovely area to visit.
The mountains were very beautiful.
We did not see as many animals as we thought we would.
The cottage we stayed in was good and the service a bit slow. It took them a week to change the bulbs.
We also wish there were more things to do in the park our parents are to old to walk.

Honeymoon
We did not stay there ourselfs, but we paid for two nights for a couple that got married that Saturday. They say it was great and that is was extremly beautiful. Thank you.

very nice park enjoyed it very much Sugestions:1)cut grass right against river will improve neatnes 2)Do not empty braai ashes or other rubbish in rivers 3)on kamp sites fill with soil so that water does not stand in hollows Thanks for oppertounaty to comment. R H Rieseberg

Wonderful stay at the Glen Reenen Rest camp
We had an absolute wonderful weekend at the Glen reenen Rest camp. The facilities were top notch, the staff friendly and efficient, the housing comfortable and well maintained. The admin staff assisting with the bookings was extremely efficient, and her helpful and supportive assistence made the 800 km trip easy and effortless.

It is the 2nd time that we walked the Wodehouse trail and it remains a trail with beautiful scenery and good for calory burning
