Wat ‘n belewenis!

Die natuur is asemrowend mooi en ons het dit baie geniet. Trouens ons het nog ‘n eksta dag langer gebly om dit nog verder te geniet.



Die wandelroetes was mooi oop gekap, dus kon lekker baie stap. Dankie daar voor.

Ons tent was gereeld versorg en was skoon.



Die handreelings by die tent is nie onderhou nie en val uit mekaar. Die plank loopvlak is plek-plek stukkend en ongelyk. Reelings is verweer en het minstens verf nodig.



Die kombuis is skoon maar het aandag nodig. (Paal om dak te stut in die middel van die vloer) verf is dringend nodig. Breekware laat veel te wense oor. Getalle en beskrywings op inventaris klop nie en breekware is gemerk (chiped). Die yskaste is ‘n pluspunt, dankie daarvoor.



Die waskamers is heel gerieflik maar ons het gesukkel met die warm water vir stort. (Gasbrander hou nie by nie). Skuifdeur skuif nie meer by die “mans” nie.



Ons het nie probleem met kamp nie en het dit na alles BAIE geniet maar ek sal moeilik ander mens aanbeveel om aMatikulu toe te gaan as hulle nie die toestand ken of verwag nie. ‘n Laaste aanbeveling: Ons het nie ‘n amptelike kwitansie van EZEMVELO KZN WILDLIFE vir die ekstra dag ontvang nie, net ‘n gewone kwitansie soos in die winkel tekoop is. Dit laat die deur oop vir versoeking en korrupsie.



Ons beplan om volgende jaar DV weer aMatikulu toe te gaan.

We went there for a 5 day breakaway and received much more than we bargained for.The site is clean and most of all very calm and relaxing.The staff is very friendly and helpful and the scenery and environment is breathless.We'll recommend Amatikulu to anyone who wants to relax and escape from the daily hustle and stress.Thanks again to all the staff of Amamtikulu

We had a lovley stay, could not have asked for a more amazing weekend. The staff there do a great job in keeping the place together and there is no doubt that we will be back time and time again.

We enjoyed our stay at Amatikulu, however we found the site badly needed an upgrade and there were many outstanding maintenance issues such as lights on the boardwalk that were intermittent, lightbulbs in the tents that were missing, tents that did not seal up properly and the kitchen desperately needed a makeover. It would be nice to have an alternate walk to the beach for people who are unable to canoe. The staff were very friendly and the tents were extremely clean. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

So much fun! Being in the bush, but next to the sea - what more can you ask for? We enjoyed every moment! Very friendly staff. Will recommend this piece of peace to all my friends and family.

Amatikulu is a beautiful place and needs to be advertised more. The tents and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped although could do with a coat of paint. The viewing hut is beautiful but the roof does need repairing. Staff are very friendly and were in the kitchen early cleaning up Staff need to be available until 6pm so that day visitors can always pay
