Zimbali Chalets, Zimbali Coastal Resort Reviews

Zimbali is a beautiful resort but unfortunatly we arrived at the peak of the season and were left for 3 days with intermittent running water. whilst I realise this effected large areas of Balito as a guest I would expect alternative arrangements to have been made as not all of the resort was without water. I consider a note suggesting we fill the bath with water so we could flush the tiolet to be an inadequate responce to our queries. When coming to a resort like Zimbali I had expected a holiday of a life time and whilst everyone was very sorry no one seemed to feel there was any need to do anything more. This was an expensive holiday for us and it was somewhat tainted by these problems. Once the water problems were sorted out the remainder of the time at Zimbali was wonderfully peaceful and we enjoyed the area and the resort.

We enjoyed our stay at the chalets and the beach was beautiful. The place certainly exceeded our expectations.

The cleaning staff though arrived very early whilst we were still asleep, so they could not do our beds.

Also the map needs to b e more comprehensive - start it from the freeway or durban as some people don't know how to get to zimbali.
