Palmiet River Lodge

Palmiet River Lodge is a tucked away in a quiet, safe cul-de-sac that overlooks the beautiful Palmiet River in the heart of the Westville Conservancy. An impenetrable cliff forms a breathtaking natural boundary where wildlife and birds abound. 128 bird species have been recorded.

The city centre, soccer and rugby stadiums and beaches are less than 20 minutes drive from the lodge. There are excellent shopping centres close by, including the Pavilion, Virgin Active gym, good restaurants and the excellent Westville Hospital. It is close to the route of the famous Comrades Marathon and an easy drive to Westridge Tennis stadium and Durban Westville University.

Palmiet River Lodge is very spacious and consists of a queen sized suite with private balcony overlooking the river, a queen bedded room, a double bedded room and a twin bedded room. Each of the rooms has a private en-suite bathroom and they have tasteful uncluttered furnishings. The rooms all have air conditioning and are serviced every day.

There is a spacious lounge, a swimming pool and a gazebo overlooking the river and cliffs. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. Braai facilites are available.
