We had the best time ever. Angie and Gero is such wonderful people they made us feel so at home at went out of their way to assist us in any way they could.

We had such a beautiful view from our log cabin looking onto the dam and magnificient mountains.

David our 4yr old thourghly enjoyed the playarea,pool, goats and canoeing with his dad on the dam and not to forget Sammy, Sasha and Ruffy the dogs.

Just across the road from the resort we all enjoyed swimming in the river and collecting pebbles.

It was the best. Can't wait for our next holiday there.

my family and I have spent a long weekend at the Ellands valley resort in the Drakensberg and was completely satisfied with the upkeep and condition of the plac. The facilities on the property provides adequately for a peaceful, quiet and restful getaway. The resort is just 7 kms away from the national parks board with exciting hiking trials for the more adventurous person and the surrounding resourts provides for one or the other activities that my family wanted to participate in, i.e. go on horse back along a mountain trail. the accomodation itself was clean and tidy and I have been to this resort on a few times over a three year period and have found that the lodges have been well maintained.
