Eland Valley Resort's facilities include trout fishing from our many stocked dams and river, horse riding, a swimming pool, playground and a recreational centre with games rooms.

"my family and I have spent a long weekend at the Ellands valley resort in the Drakensberg and was completely satisfied with the upkeep and condition of the plac. The facilities on the property provides adequately for a peaceful, quiet and restful getaway. The resort is just 7 kms away from the national parks board with exciting hiking trials for the more adventurous person and the surrounding resourts provides for one or the other activities that my family wanted to participate in, i.e. go on horse back along a mountain trail. the accomodation itself was clean and tidy and I have been to this resort on a few times over a three year period and have found that the lodges have been well maintained. "

DIRECTIONS: It will take about 3 hours from Durban (distance 235km) and about 6 hours from Johannesburg to get to us.
Take exit 99 off N3 onto R617 (Underberg). Pass through Boston, Bulwer, and Underberg.
Take DRAKENSBERG GARDENS RESORTS road- turn-off to right 4km outside Underberg before the Umzimkulu River Bridge.
The Resort is 24 km along this tarred road.
