Honeypot Bed & Breakfast

Located in a quiet suburb of Umhlanga, Honey Pot B&B is only a 900 meters walk away from golden beaches and is 600 meters walk from the buzzing Umhlanga village. Bob and Heather Hunter, your gracious hosts welcome you to Honeypot B&B. Our sweet home offers a homely European style Bed & Breakfast. Privacy and tranquility are especially dedicated to our guests as they forget all the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Umhlanga is located 15 kilometers north of Durban and prides itself with a first class village ambience and fantastic beaches.

Honeypot B&B accommodation consists of spacious rooms all with en-suite bathrooms and individual private entrances from the lovely gardens. All rooms have TV with MNET, CSN and a Satellite channel as well as tea/coffee making facilities. Each room also has a telephone with an additional socket for use with your own PC. Provided daily are clean towels and maid services. The rooms have a view of the beautiful gardens that continue to inspire and take breaths away.

Breakfast includes full English and/or Continental and is served on our front patio with a great view of the Indian Ocean just 800 meters away. A pool entices guests to just relax at the sunbed or have a dip at the refreshing water. A braai (barbecue) facility can used outside of your room or next to the pool and provides for a wonderful time. Full business facilities for the traveling executive are also offered at Honeypot Bed & Breakfast such as email, which is available to all. A laundry service and picnic baskets are available on request.

Attractions at Honeypot Bed & Breakfast include Valley 1000 Hills, Assagay Safari Park, Crocodile Park, Umgeni Bird Park, Botanical Gardens, Sea World and Sharks Board. We are also in close proximity to Gateway, the biggest shopping and entertainment complex in the Southern Hemisphere. Many other activities such as golf, horse riding, scuba diving and tennis courts can be found at nearby La Lucia.

We can also arrange for airport transfers, day trips and car rentals. Children are also welcome and a cot is provided for smaller ones. Small pets are also allowed with prior arrangement.
