There are many diverse and interesting things to do in St Lucia. You are within St Lucia wetland park with its diverse wild and bird life. Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve with the big 5 is within 40 minutes. Indulge yourself in an African bush experience by taking a game drive. Turtle breading season begins in October and whale watching season is from June until December.

St Lucia offers the sports fishermen ample opportunity to try out their luck on the ocean. Rock and surf fishing, fly fishing and spear fishing are all available nearby. Just when you thought you had heard of all possible cruises, St Lucia offers you a hippo cruise, allowing you to better view hippos from the vantage of a boat. There are also walking trails through large expanses of beautiful wetlands, kayak safaris, night safaris, game safaris and a crocodile farm. The beaches offer you the chance to walk for miles on end, or have a picnic with the family, building sand castles on the brilliant white beaches.
