As part of the magnificent Pongola Game Reserve, Nkwazi lodge is situated on a hillside overlooking the Pongola River that meanders through to Lake Jozini. While idyllic and private, Nkwazi is also close to Pongola's many convenient amenities including shops, restaurants, and medical facilities.

Accommodation at Nkwazi Lodge consists of 12 en-suite chalets and 2 family chalets, in total sleeping up to 32 people. The family chalets have 2 bedrooms each with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. All units have been comfortably decorated and feature mini-bar fridges, tea and coffee making facilities, are fully air-conditioned, and have private verandas overlooking the magnificent views of the lake and bush.

Nkwazi's main lodge boasts a central area including a bar, TV lounge that has DSTV, a dining area and covered open plan lounge, as well as a boma. There is a magnificent swimming pool in which to cool off during those hot summer days, while dining at Nkwazi is both a sumptuous and mouthwatering affair; several versions of venison dishes are prepared and served in the boma or dining area overlooking the river.

Nkwazi Lodge has a variety of attractive activities on-site to keep every member of the family entertained. Enjoy one of our famous game drives and view species including the white rhino, giraffe, zebra, or kudu.
