It is situated in a serene and tranquil up-market suburb of Pietermaritzburg. The neighborhood is nested in rolling forested hills that cascade into a gentle valley with a running stream. It is peaceful and secured.

The N3 toll road, shopping centres, Queen Elizabeth Park, bike and quad tracks, and Grey Hospital are less than 3km to the facility. Cuisine from a choice of restaurants is a short drive away. There is a liquor licence.
