Situated 5 minutes from the centre of the City of Pietermaritzburg and 2 minutes from the lovely National Botanic Gardens, Babbling Brook offers 3 tastefully-decorated, comfortable accommodation with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, television and the choice of self-catering if preferred. Each room has a private entrance and undercover parking available. As the accommodation is situated at the bottom of the garden, it allows for privacy yet remains homely. Breakfasts are served in the privacy of your room or on the patio outside if preferred.

Babbling Brook is ideally situated, as we are only an hour's drive from Durban and an hour & a half from the lovely Drakensberg, through the famous midlands meander. Attractions and amenities close by include The Royal Show grounds, Art in the Park, Hospitals and the start of Comrades Marathon, all within ten minutes' drive. There are also a number of good restaurants close by.

Facilities on the property include a pub & library for relaxation. There are also Braai (barbeque) facilities available. There is a swimming pool for cooling off on hot summer days and internet connection is also available.
