Visit the nearby checkered Port Shepstone lighthouse and if you enjoy angling, walk down to the Umzimkulu River mouth for game fishing. Be on the lookout for Zambezi (Bull) sharks entering the mouth.
At Oslo Beach, you are never far from convenience, neighbouring Shelly Beach has the largest shopping mall along this section of the coast. Various restaurants, speciality shops and cinemas are on the premises.
The Pure Venom Reptile Park in Shelly Beach has a huge collection of indigenous and exotic reptiles. Spend some time learning about the fascinating local fauna.

Taxi There are a number of metered taxi companies in Port Shepstone. Margate Coach & Shuttle Services operate a daily shuttle between King Shaka airport and Oslo Beach.
