The Braes Lodge is situated on top of a picturesque hill in Margate, KwaZulu Natal. Our sprawling lodge is the perfect way to unwind from the frenetic pace of your daily life. With all the necessary creature comforts at your fingertips, you can concentrate on the important business of relaxing.

The Braes Lodge offers guests the ultimate in comfort. Our self catering units are totally furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need to live in style and comfort. We have a family unit that sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms. There is a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, 2 double bedrooms and 2 single beds in the roomy lounge area. There is a private patio with braai area.

We also have small units that sleep up to 4 people in a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, ad a double bedroom. Both units have fully equipped kitchens, and lounge and dining areas.

Our spacious property has immaculately maintained gardens, a large swimming pool and a view over the ocean.

Using our luxury units as your base you can easily explore the many wonders and attractions in the area. The area around Margate is known as the Hibiscus coast and is famous for its beautiful beaches. There are 2 “Blue Flag” beaches that are a mere 1km away. Start your day with a stroll on the beach or a relaxing swim. Surfing, snorkeling or diving are highly recommended as this area is well known for its mild waters. There are three golf courses in the immediate vicinity, as well as many more within an hour’s drive.
