Situated 5km away from Kokstad lies the beautiful & restful holiday and tourist destination Mount Currie. The campground with 10 large shady campsites, and also has facilities to sleep up to 6 people in squaredavels and 2 more people in a room with a bed and an en suite. Ablutions are provided near the campground and these provide patrons with flushing toilets, showers with hot water and electrical plug points. The campground boasts a safe and peaceful environment, which provides hot and cold running water, basins for dish washing and laundry and barbecue facilities.

There are many activities that are offered at the resort including boating and fresh water fishing. It also provides the opportunity to climb the luscious terrain of Mount Currie and enjoy the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you. Nature lovers will enjoy the sight of the birds that inhabit the area around the reserve.

The Adam Kok Memorial is only a short drive away from the reserve and inside this memorial lies the Boy Scout monument.
