Quill Hall B&B and Self Catering

Quill Hall is an up-market Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering facility, set in the verdant hills of Kloof, in the western region of Durban, on the East coast of South Africa. Our establishment is located near to shops, restaurants, theatre and golf courses, catering for corporate and leisure stays, we are also a gay-friendly establishment.

Located in tranquil park-like surroundings, this establishment offers superb accommodation in a separate cottage, independent of the main house, as well as a room off the main house with it's own entrance.

Breakfasts at Quill Hall are always enjoyable: a hearty Full English breakfast, a healthy or continental breakfast is included in your rate, good coffee and the morning paper to get your day started.

It is five minutes from central Hillcrest and twenty-five minutes from Durban City Centre and forty minutes from Pietermaritzburg; ten minutes from Pinetown, New Germany, Westmead as well as Hammarsdale and Cato Ridge.

You are on the door step of the Midlands Meander, 1000 Hills Experience, as well as the Blue Flag beaches that embrace the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. You are within 2½ hours easy drive of the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Resorts and Northern Natal’s Game Parks and The Krantzkloof Gorge is a 10 minute drive away with lovely long walks, picnic areas and waterfalls. Good bird-watching trails through indigenous forests at both Shongweni Reserve and Krantzkloof Gorge.
