Eshowe
Welcome to Eshowe the oldest Town in Zululand, situated slightly North-East of Durban, as a market town it offers shopping centers and every modern convenience as well as historical backgrounds and attractions.
Eshowe has a nice collection of different accommodation from natural styled lodges to local hotels and guest houses. If you prefer, take your vacation at one of Eshowe's many farm style accommodations.
Take a walk in one of Eshowe's largest attractions, the Dlinza Forest, situated next to the village offering stunning walks and trails. Also a trip to the Entumi nature reserve is suggested, a magnificent indigenous forest with a wide variety of bird and animals. Fort Nonqayi housing the Zululand Historical Museum or visit the Goedetrouw Public Resort and go fishing or take the family out for a picnic. The Ocean view game park offers two memorials to the warrior-king Shaka.
