Raptor's Rest is a Bed and Breakfast in the true sense of the word. Your host John Dunlop has these words to say about Raptor's Rest, "I have you stay in my home. Raptor's Rest offers accommodation that by traveling north of Durban through the lush sugar plantations of the Zululand coastal belt it is a one and a half hour trip to Empangeni, the gateway to the world renowned wild life reserves of Hluhluwe and Umfolozi, the parks responsible for the reestablishment of the once threatened rhino. These two “BIG FIVE’ parks and the ‘World Heritage Site” of St Lucia are only one hour from our luxurious yet inexpensive doorstep.

The shade and cool of the garden is offset by the rich glow of natural wood in the interior. The Raptor's Rest dining-room, lounge and bar all have separate identities and although the décor is exquisite they are all rooms to relax and unwind in.

All seven bedrooms of Raptor's Rest have there own unique style and feel. They are extremely comfortable and up market. All have their own entrance off the garden and pool area, with remote air conditioning and DSTV. Internet by wireless connection is also available in all accommodations.
