69 Strand Self Catering Units

Your hosts Peter and Lyn welcome you to 69 Strand, where you will be extremely comfortable in any of our 3 self catering units. Situated on Strand Road, Brighton Beach, on the Bluff, we are 15 minutes away from the vibrant city centre of Durban and a mere 10 minutes away from Durban International Airport. Our breathtaking 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalized. Spotting whales and dolphins from your private deck is not rare, especially around the winter months (Mid May - August.)

The Upper Unit

The Upper unit can sleep up to four people comfortably. It has two separate air-conditioned bed-rooms, each with a queen sized bed. There is an open plan living area with full satellite D.S.T.V. plus wireless internet. This leads you out to the patio from where you can enjoy the beautiful sea-views and spectacular African sunrise. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin. There is safe and convenient parking directly outside the unit.

The Lower Unit

The Lower unit sleeps up to two people, with one queen size bed in the air-conditioned bedroom with full satellite D.S.T.V. There is an open plan living area, plus wireless internet. This ground floor unit also has beautiful sea-views and is a few steps away from the sun-deck that is perched right on the edge. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom consists of a bath, toilet and a basin. Safe and convenient parking is directly outside the unit.

The Guest Unit

The Guest unit sleeps two people and is popular with honeymooners. From the living area sliding doors lead you out to your own private sun-deck where you can enjoy the beautiful sea-views and surroundings. This unit has one air-conditioned bedroom with a queen sized bed, full satellite D.S.T.V, wireless internet and en-suite bathroom. The bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and a basin. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Wireless internet is also available.
