The Complex - Santorini is a magnificent Grecian style complex built on the cliffs above Thompson's Bay. The award winning architecture offers spacious, secure and private living amongst magnificent lush sub tropical gardens!

The Unit - Thera 12 is a 3 bedroom ground floor apartment directly overlooking the Thera swimming pool. Mornings can be spent sunbathing in Thompson's Bay with its spectacular swimming reefs and large tidal pool.

Mom and Dad will greatly appreciate the luxurious convenience of lazy, sun drenched afternoons relaxing on the patio while keeping a watchful eye on the kids exploring the crystal blue swimming pool. There is no need to pack up a cooler box, towels and umbrellas to go to the pool - you're already there!!

Facilities - A security controlled gate provides access to Thompson Bay beach directly from within the complex about 200m from the apartment. Life guards are on duty during holiday seasons and shark nets are installed all year around. You will need to bring your own beach towels, fishing rods, tennis rackets, umbrellas etc, etc. Linen, bath towels and beach chairs are provided. The patio has a kettle-braai with a large table and 5 cushioned chairs.

The Region - Ballito is the Jewel of the Dolphin Coast, nestled between rippling sugar cane fields and the golden beaches of the warm Indian Ocean. The friendly, village atmosphere is a welcome haven from the fast paced city life. Ballito boasts top class restaurants, shopping malls, beach front family pubs as well as 3 local golf courses in the world famous Zimbali Estate, Umhlali Country Club and the uniquely challenging par 60 Simbithi Country Club.

A medical centre and state-of-the-art Netcare hospital are situated in central Ballito. The new King Shaka airport is 10 minutes away and Umhlanga no more than a 20 minute drive.

Salmon Bay provides a launch area for small watercraft with loads of fishing spots which guarantee keen fishermen a good bite. There are numerous diving spots and beautiful reefs for scuba divers.

The Climate - A hot & humid sub-tropical climate is prevalent almost all year round. The rainy season peaks from September to November. The hottest months are from December to March with day-time temperatures regularly over 30C and night time temperatures seldom falling below 22C.

Winters are moderate and short (May to July) with night time temperatures hardly ever dropping below 12 degrees and day time temperatures often ranging from 22 - 26C.
